How Calculations Work
All calculators use a single, centralized calculation engine. The core relationship is:
Time (seconds) = (File Size in Bytes × 8) ÷ Speed in bits per second
Calculations run locally in your browser. There is no server-side calculation API, no account system, and no database. Results are theoretical estimates based on sustained transfer rates.
